2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
2020 Nobel prize in chemistry won by two women for contributing research on DNA transforming.The Prize is divided between the two women as 1/2 and 1/2.Emmanuelle Charpentier of France and Jennifer Doudna of the U.S. on October 7 won the Nobel prize for researching on Genome editing technique known as CRISPR-Cas9 DNA.They are the first women who won Nobel science prize for the Women-only team.
The Noble jury said that this research helps to change the DNA of plants,animals and other micro organisms and can make the dream of curing inherited diseases comes true.
2020 Nobel Prize in Physics
The 2020 Noble prize in physics won by two men and a women for contributing research on black hole.The prize is divided among the two men and women as 1/2,1/4 and 1/4.
Roger Penrose,Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez on october 6 won the Nobel Prize in physical science.Penerose won the half of the prize for the discovery "that black hole formation is a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity,”while Genzel and Ghez shared the half of the prize for the discovery of a "supermassive compact object at the centre of our galaxy.”
2020 Nobel Prize in Economics
The 2020 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Paul R. Milgrom and Robert B. Wilson for improvements in auction theory and inventions of new auction formats.
Paul Milgrom developed a general theory of auctions and analysed different bidding strategies in a number of well-known auction formats.
Robert Wilson formulated a theory for the auctions of an object with a common value.
Their discoveries helped for buyers,sellers and taxpayers around the world.
