2020 Nobel Prize in Medicine won by three researchers for discovering virus Hepatitis C.
The three winners are british scientist Michael Houghton and U.S. Researchers Harvey Alter and Charles Rice.Hepatitis C is a major cause of liver cancer.The world health organization estimated more than 71 million infected from this virus and approximately causes 400000 deaths per year.The three scientists jointly rewarded as this discovery reveals the causes of Chronic Hepatitis and made new medicines that have saved millions of lives.

American Poet Louise Gluck won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature "for her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal".Gluck was also won US literary awards multiple times.She also won U.S. pulitzer prize for her poetry collection "The Wild Iris".
2020 Nobel Prize in Peace
United Nations(UN) World Food Programme(WFP) won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Peace.The UNWFP won the prize for its efforts to combat hunger and improving the conditions for peace.It delivers food during the time of natural disasters,emergencies,wars and feeded millions of people during corona virus pandamic and also provided assistance for more than 100 millions of people in many countries.
This is the 12th time UN and its agencies won the Nobel Prize.
